Van Specification Vantage Neo

There were lots of reasons we chose the Vantage Neo

  • We loved the rear bed layout
  • The lift up boot at the back suited our needs.
  • The unfussy look of the van inside and out.
  • The washroom had a fixed wash hand basin
  • There was a spacious kitchen worktop and fixed basin tap.
Also  important to us was the company record for customer service, a friendly and efficient team.

We were part exchanging our IH van so we were not too worried about waiting for our new Vantage.

Here is the spec we went for:-

2019 Fiat 2.2 Multi Jet 180 bhp C- Matic in Silver. Our IH van was dark grey which looked lovely but held the heat. The silver Vantage has proved much more heat reflective especially in warmer climates. We are really pleased with the automatic.
Cab air con.
Cruise control.
Reverse camera and monitor ( Fiat)
Front & Rear mud flaps.
Front fog lamps
Day running lamps LED
Traction + and Hill descent.
Heat reflective front screen.
Vanco All Weather 19" Tyres

The Vantage Leisure options we went for :-

A fixed rear pod . We love this!
Leather trimmed upholstery.
Fiamma F65S 4m awning.
External Gas BBQ point.
Additional 240V next to BBQ outlet outside. This is well worth getting especially when on hook up.
Tow bar.
Cool air 3 speed fan. This works brilliantly.
Music port and speakers.
Avtex 21.5 digital TV.
TV ariel.
Additional 100W Solar panel.
Fly screen for sliding door.  Really handy in mozzie areas.
Shower room turbo vent.
Inverter.
Reading lights.
Extendable warranty.
Additional 240V & 12V fitted to set base.

Diamond Pack.

We love the drive and living in the Neo, so we made good choices for us. The compressor fridge is fabulous and works well for us.

The only additional extras we have added are.

A Van Bitz alarm system.
Meta Trak, so we know where the van is!
Black bumpers sprayed to match the van.

Additional equipment we have bought and usually take with us.

A Bonsil tilting bike rack fitted on the tow bar.
A front sun screen to attach to the front of the Fiamma awning. Great for privacy and extra sun protection.
A Cadac BBQ to use on the outside gas point.
A brand new, soon to be tried out, electric Schallen 2 :1 Grill & Griddle.
An Aldi one ring induction hob.
A Remoska ( never leave home without it)
Storage cubes for clothes in the top lockers. Really clever, thanks again for the tip Travels in a Neo!
Dock & Bay towels. This really saves storage space.
We also recently bought a small storage tent which was very handy on our recent 2 month Portugal trip. Only for extended stay trips.
2 Hellinox chairs recommended by our internet family Travels in a Neo. These store safely in the boot and are really comfortable.

Everything we have specified we use! The only thing I could do without is, the oven, which is used for storage. We have only used the inverter a few times. We find the van beautifully insulated  with no cold spots. The bed is really comfy, we use a M & S mattress enhancer with a duvet on top, all stored in the offside locker.

Krystal is a perfect van for us and she has just got her first MOT. A little celebration in order I think!!!
